Lincoln to host state basketball tournaments through 2028

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The state basketball tournament will be staying in Lincoln for now.

The Nebraska School Activities Association board of directors voted Thursday to keep the tournament in Lincoln through at least 2028.

The board unanimously approved the proposal 8-0.

The NSAA Board of Directors voted 8-0 FOR the Lincoln community to host the 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, & 2028 NSAA Girls & Boys State Basketball Championships. #nebpreps
