Man killed in rollover crash on rural southeast Nebraska highway
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man died Friday in a rollover crash in rural Gage County.
The crash happened around 11 p.m. on Highway 4 near Juniper Road, just northwest of Beatrice.
The Gage County Sheriff’s Office said 21-year-old Jose Luis Hernandez of Plymouth overcorrected and drove into a ditch, causing the pickup truck to roll over.
Hernandez was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt, the sheriff’s office said.
Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
