Building collapse closes portion of downtown Norfolk
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A portion of downtown Norfolk closed Thursday after a building collapsed.
The city said just after 2 p.m. that a structure near Seventh Street and Norfolk Avenue collapsed.
The cause of the collapse is still under investigation.
Emergency crews are currently on site to assess the damage, according to officials.
The City of Norfolk posted on its social media accounts, telling people to avoid the area.
