Keep an eye out for any slick spots as you make your way around town Monday
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Monday morning commute was a messy one.
Streets were slicked as a fresh layer of snow fell overnight.
City plow crews were out clearing main roads throughout the night.
As of 11 a.m. Monday, 20 crews remained patrolling arterial streets, bus and school routes.
City officials say arterial streets range from wet to snow-packed while residential streets range from slush covered to snow packed.
Drivers should be alert for slick spots, especially on untreated areas.

Earlier Sunday, 10 crews with the City of Lincoln began treating frequently traveled bridges with anti-ice brine and granular salt pre-wet with brine.
