Monday Evening Weather Update; November 30, 2020

John 10 Day Pm

It will be a cold start to Tuesday as we will have clear skies and light winds overnight allowing temperatures to drop back to the teens.

Look for sunny skies to start the day but expect mid and high level clouds to start arriving from the west by late morning, turning skies partly sunny at best by afternoon.  Temperatures will climb to the middle/upper 40°s by afternoon.

We’re watching a weather system that will develop south of Nebraska for Wednesday.  It will try to send moisture to Nebraska but I think a dry, northerly wind at the surface will keep most of the moisture away.  The northerly wind will bring cooler temperatures to southeast Nebraska, only allowing temperatures to top out in the middle/upper 30°s.  With the cold air in place, and some moisture in the sky, I would not be surprised to see snow flurries Wednesday.
