Thursday Evening Weather Update; December 3, 2020

Skies are mainly clear over southeast Nebraska Thursday night and that will be a general trend for the next several days.

Temperatures will drop back to the middle 20°s by Friday morning with clear skies.  Plenty of sunshine Friday will allow temperatures to climb 10° above normal.  Highs will be in the lower to middle 50°s Friday afternoon.

We may have a few high, thin clouds drift in from the northeast Friday night, but overall skies should remain mainly clear.  Low temperatures will be in the middle 20°s Saturday morning.

WEEKEND FORECAST

Saturday and Sunday will bring mostly sunny skies but there will be temperature differences.  The first half of the weekend should be warmer.  Temperatures will climb to the upper 40°s to lower 50°s.

A weak weather system will pass south through Iowa, bringing a slight cool down Sunday.  Temperatures will only top out in the lower to middle 40°s.  However, this will still be above normal for this time of the year.  The normal high temperature is around 40°.
