Two injured after crashing into concrete embankment in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a crash on a north Lincoln bridge.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on the North 27th Street bridge above Interstate 80.

An official with LFR said a Kia Soul ran off the road and crashed into a concrete embankment

Two people were extricated from the vehicle and taken to a local trauma center.  The extent of their injuries is unknown.

A part of the bridge is shut down as crews respond to the scene.
