Woman robbed, attacked with metal rod in west Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was robbed and attacked with a metal rod Tuesday in west Lincoln, police say.
Around 10:15 a.m., officers were sent to the area of West O Street and Sun Valley Boulevard on a report of an assault.
The victim, a 48-year-old woman, had been bleeding from the head.
She told police that three women, whom she knew, assaulted her with a metal rod while she was in her tent. The victim was also robbed of some of her belongings.
One of the women had a black dog with her, according to LPD.
While the victim was being taken to a hospital, an officer found three women with a black dog at a bus stop.
Police said two of the women got onto the bus, while the third was arrested for having an outstanding warrant and drugs.
Investigators are seeking the other two women involved in the assault.
