LPD: Teen assaulted, robbed while walking in north Lincoln neighborhood
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen was attacked and robbed Thursday evening in a north Lincoln neighborhood, police say.
Around 8:45 p.m., officers were sent to North Fifth and Adams streets on a report of a 16-year-old girl who was assaulted.
The victim said two middle school-aged boys and a female wearing a black mask assaulted her.
Police said the assailants pulled her hair and forced her to the ground. They also tried taking her shoes.
The group took her headphones, which are valued at $100, and ran away, according to LPD.
The female also grabbed the victim’s phone and slammed it onto the ground.
Police said the victim had swelling under her right eye and a bloody lip.
