Two injured in multi-vehicle crash at south Lincoln intersection

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were injured Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in south Lincoln.

The crash happened around 10:20 a.m. at 48th Street and Nebraska Parkway.

Police said a pickup truck turned onto 48th Street while the light was flashing yellow and hit a westbound pickup truck.

One of the trucks was pushed into two other vehicles, according to LPD.  Both trucks are totaled.

The drivers of the pickup trucks were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, police said.

A part of the intersection was closed due to the crash.  It has since been reopened.
