One injured in shooting at central Lincoln gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was shot early Friday morning outside a gas station in central Lincoln, police say.

Around 2:15 a.m., officers were sent to NP Mart near 28th and O streets on a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg, LPD said.

He was taken to a hospital with an injury that was not life-threatening.

A Channel 8 reporter at the scene shared a video of the investigation at the gas station on the NOW Local News App.
