Warmer Tuesday- Record Cold Thursday

Today -Tonight: Temperatures will be above freezing for much of us Tuesday! The warmest temperatures in SW Nebraska due to less snow coverage. Sunshine will also be present with a SW wind 10-15 mph. Tonight, a few passing snow flurries will be possible across the state with no accumulation expected.

Wednesday-Thursday: Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon, expect a blast of our coldest air yet this year! Temperatures a few degrees below zero with wind chills to around -5 to -10 degrees. Thursday, high temperatures staying in the 20s under sunny skies. Thursday morning: RECORD LOW: -3 (1902)

Saturday: Models are showing agreement on possible light snow showers in parts of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa Saturday into Sunday. We do warm up next Wednesday though!
