LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska men’s basketball team moved up eight spots in the AP poll on Monday.

The Huskers are now ranked at No. 15, after officially entering the rankings last week at No. 23 for the first time since 2018.

Nebraska had an impressive win over Wisconsin at home and a dramatic road victory over then-No. 13 Illinois last week.

Fred Hoiberg and company are off to their best start in program history with an 11-o record.

Nebraska has two more nonconference opponents — North Dakota and New Hampshire — before facing Michigan State on Jan. 2.

The game against North Dakota is at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Dec. 21.  The game tips off at 7 p.m. and is being broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
