Prince’s 20 helps No. 25 Nebraska women’s basketball top Indiana

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The No. 25-ranked Nebraska women’s basketball team topped Indiana on Thursday night, beating the Hoosiers 78-73 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

As a team, the Huskers shot 42% from the floor and 38% from deep, while the Hoosiers shot 51% and 31% from beyond the arc.
Britt Prince led the way for NU, scoring 20 points on 6-for-11 shooting. She also went 7-for-7 from the free throw line and dished out a team-high seven assists.
Jessica Petrie followed close behind with 18 points, and Logan Nissley rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11 points.
Petrie and Eliza Maupin each grabbed a team-leading seven rebounds.
Shay Ciezki led Indiana with 31 points, while Zania Socka-Nguemen racked up 19 points.
The Huskers will round out their three-game home stand with a matchup against UCLA on Sunday.
Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
