Lincoln Police Department provides update on search for bodies of missing couple
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department provided an update on their search for the bodies of Hannah Neville and Roberto Tanner on Tuesday.
Authorities are currently in Saunders County, searching around four miles of tree lines and fields in Malmo.
Lt. Dustin Romshek said several different families own all of the properties.
Multiple agencies are working together to locate the bodies, including the Sheriff’s Offices of Saunders County, York County, Polk County and Lancaster County, along with the Nebraska State Patrol.
According to LPD, they are using digital evidence that led them to the area.
Romshek said they are not sure how long the search will take, but it could be several days, and they are unsure if they will find both of the bodies together.
Authorities are going based on digital evidence, individuals who have come forward, statements, and tips.
This is the first area they are searching, Lt. Romshek said, and they have a lot of different areas of interest.
