A spring feel for a couple more days
February is going out on a warm note! The second to last day of the month will see plenty of sunshine with highs 20 to 30 degrees above average.
We do cool off a little bit for the last day of February, but still above average with more clouds.
The chance for some rain and snow starts to push in on Sunday. A little freezing rain will be possible, as well. This looks like it will happen during the daytime hours.
Using weather models as guidance, they range from nothing at all (all rain) to a few inches of snow. We’re still a few days away from this, so short range models can’t see that far out yet.
The rain/snow/mix potential lingers into Monday, then more rain chances through the middle of next week. Then we start to warm back up with more clouds likely.
