Bryan East Hospital receives bomb threat, officers find nothing

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Bryan East Hospital was the victim of an alleged bomb threat last night.

Someone called the hospital stating they left a backpack in the building with a pipe bomb inside.

Lincoln Police Department and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to the scene. Officers conducted an extensive search but came up empty-handed.

Officers then declared the area safe before anyone needed to evacuate.
