Lancaster County Super Fair closes early after fight and too many minors without parents found

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Sandhills Global Event Center closed down the Lancaster County Super Fair early last night after deciding too many juveniles were unsupervised.

Along with that, a fight broke up between two minors. A 13-year-old girl was referred for an assault.

The victim of the fight was another 13-year-old girl, who was taken to the hospital. She had a laceration bleeding above her eye and other injuries from the physical altercation. According to Lincoln Police Department, she was stomped on and punched repeatedly.

According to fair rules, parents are required to be physically present with minors at the fair.
