NSP begins effort during busy events at Memorial Stadium, making three DUI arrests Saturday
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Today, Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) announced the numbers from a special enforcement effort that occurred Saturday, Aug. 22.
The effort corresponded with the Boys From Oklahoma concert at Memorial Stadium.
During that time, troopers made three arrests for driving under the influence.
NSP said the concert was the first event of many busy traffic events over the next few months at the stadium. The Husker football team has seven home games this season.
NSP urges fans to make plans before the game for travel routes, parking and safe driving before and after each game.
The Huskers kick off their season on Sept. 5, hosting Ohio at Memorial Stadium.
