LPD releases domestic violence data in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD), in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, has released data from 2026.
In 2026, there has been 846 people helped, 395 domestic violence survivors, 402 stalking victims, 893 protection orders and 430 protection order violations.
“Domestic violence doesn’t disappear if we stop talking about it. We must stand with survivors, always,” LPD said in a social media post.
