No. 1 Nebraska volleyball sweeps past No. 16 Penn State to win 21st-straight match away from home

Lincoln, Neb. (KLKN) – In the first match away from home since early September, No. 1 Nebraska picked up right where it left off last week, sweeping No. 16 Penn State 25-20, 25-17, 25-18 Thursday night at Rec Hall.

The Huskers (14-0, 3-0 Big Ten) hit a season-best .440 in the win, while holding the Nittany Lions (9-4, 1-2 Big Ten) to a hitting percentage of .267. Harper Murray did it all for Nebraska, recording a team-high 13 kills, while adding four blocks and a pair of aces. Andi Jackson led the team up front, logging seven blocks and 11 kills.

Additionally, Bergen Reilly finished with a 34 assist, 16 dig double-double, the 46th of her collegiate career.

Thursday’s win is also the 250th victory for Dani Busboom Kelly as a head coach. She is the fourth-fastest in Division I history to reach that mark.

Nebraska returns to action Saturday on the road at Maryland. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
