LPD shares behind the scenes of new Hulu documentary

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) shared behind the scenes from Hulu’s new crime documentary.

The documentary, Swipe Right on the Devil, tells the story of Sydney Loofe.

LPD said about a year ago, Imagine Documentaries and director Brian Biegel contacted them to speak about the case. LPD said they remained committed to honoring Sydney’s family, and decided to only participate in the documentary if they chose to share their story.

Ultimately, Sydney’s family decided to be involved in the documentary. With the family’s support, investigators Matt Franken and Bob Hurley sat down to speak about the case.
