BREAKING: LPD searching for missing 16-year-old girl

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 16-year-old girl.

Harper Wathen, known as Amber, left home on Oct. 6 around 4 a.m. The area was around South 51st Street and Prescott Avenue.

According to LPD, she has been in digital communication with her friends and there are concerns for her safety.

She is 5’10”, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

LPD urges individuals to call dispatch at 402-441-6000 or 911 in an emergency.
