No. 12 Nebraska snaps 3-match losing streak with win over Northwestern
Huskers start Big Ten play with a win over the Wildcats

Looking to rebound from their recent 3 match skid, Nebraska started Big Ten play strong beating the Northwestern Wildcats 3-1.
Nebraska won both sets 1 and 2, 25-21. The Huskers struggled in set 3, eventually falling to the Wildcats, 25-23.
The last time Northwestern won a set over the Cornhuskers was Nov. 2, 2013.
The Huskers battled with Northwestern in the 4th set and after falling down 7-3 early in the frame, stormed back to seal the match 26-16.
Madi Kubik led the way for the Huskers with 19 kills, while freshman Lindsay Krause was close behind with 15 kills on a .500 hit percentage. Senior Nicklin Hames had 45 of the Huskers’ 49 assists.
Next up for the Huskers, they’ll host the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday at 2 p.m.-
