Valentino’s Buffet to permanently close

Due to labor shortages and the effects of COVID-19 the decision was made to shut it's doors.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Valentino’s Buffet location at 70th and Van Dorn has been permanently closed.

The location has not been open since October of 2020 and the decision to shut its doors was due to labor shortages and the effects of COVID according to a press release.

The original location was opened in October 1974 and has served the Lincoln community for over 40 years.

“We are grateful to our loyal customers over the years,” said Tony Messineo, Valentino’s President.

“This Valentino’s buffet was a big part of many family traditions, including our family as well.”
