A cold weekend ahead
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place through Saturday morning for parts of far northeast Nebraska.
Snowfall Friday night into Saturday is expected to be light for much of the Nebraska, but a few inches will be possible in the very northeast corner.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.
Then it gets cold. Highs on Saturday will be in the teens for much of the state.
The wind chill Saturday will drop into the single digits above and below zero.
We will be on the edge of some VERY cold air Sunday morning. Cold Weather Alerts are in place just to our east for wind chills double digits below zero.
