A couple chances for snow

There is a chance parts of NE and eastern Nebraska may see some light snow tonight. The better chance for accumulating snow will be when this moves into Iowa. See below for timing from our StormCast weather model.

After the snow chance through early Thursday, we quiet down for a bit. Friday is looking cloudy and cool.

Lincoln Tomorrow Hour By Hour

Highs will get into the 30s for much of the state, which is very close to normal. It’ll be cooler to the north where they have a fresh pack of snow on the ground.

State Forecast Highs Tomorrow

Late Saturday into Sunday, we see another chance for snowfall across Nebraska. The area with the best chance for snowfall is in the darker shades of blue and purple. It’s still a few days out, so I’ll have more details on timing and total potential in the coming days.

After the snow chance Sunday, it gets cold for several days. The amount of snow will play a big part in the temperature forecast. More snow = more cold!
