A few storm chances and cooler than average
Rain showers will be possible on and off on Thursday. There may be a rumble of thunder or two, but the better chance for that is in SW Nebraska.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is saying for precipitation chances. Notice it’s mainly rain in central and eastern Nebraska, but storms are trying to move into SW Nebraska.
That area where the storms are a little stronger (see above), does have a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms Thursday.
Temperatures on Thursday continue to be cooler than average. We should be in the lower 80s this time of year.
We get back to normal for temperatures by the weekend. Showers and storms are possible each day.
