A Hot and Breezy Mother’s Day
A RED FLAG WARNING is in effect through Sunday night for most of central Nebraska. This is due to the warm temperatures, low humidity and gusty winds. Fire weather conditions will be critical during this time. Avoid burning and safely dispose of cigarettes as fires can spark and grow quickly.
Wishing everyone a happy and safe Mother’s Day tomorrow! Looks like we’re in for some beautiful weather with lots of sunshine and temperatures climbing into the upper 80s and low 90s. It’ll be a bit breezy in the afternoon and evening with winds from the southeast around 15 to 20 mph, so just keep an eye out for any fire danger if you’re spending time outside. Hope you get to enjoy the day with family and soak up some sun!

Sunday, temperatures in the upper 80s for most of us, with a southeast wind 5-10 mph.
A hot and dry week ahead. Temperatures staying in the 80s and lower 90s. A slight chance for rain and a possible storm Wednesday evening. By next weekend, a potential system looks to move in bringing us some moisture and much needed rain.
