A mild week before Christmas
Temperatures are not going to be very winter-like the next several days. The average high this time of year is in the upper 30s and we’ll be closer to 50 all the way through the weekend. We do have precipitation chances, but with as warm as it’s going to be, it’ll likely be a liquid precipitation.
If you’re going to be in central and eastern Nebraska for the holiday weekend, it’s going to be a warm one! Temperatures will be in the lower and middle 50s each day. However, we have a chance for rain each day. It won’t be a complete wash out, but rain will be possible on and off.
For Wednesday, we’ll be very close to 50 for the high. With more clouds and some patchy AM fog, we may struggle to warm up a little.
The wind will not be an issue at all. It will likely be less than 10 mph all day.
If we get to 50+ the next several days, it’s very possible we see the 4th most amount of 50+ high temperatures in December that Lincoln has ever seen.
After all of those 50s for highs, we cool back down for a good part of next week.
