"Food Truck Festival for AlZ."

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A ‘Food Truck Festival for Alzheimer’s’ is underway at Haymarket Park to bring awareness to a disease that affects millions nationwide.

“This festival is near and dear to our hearts, as band members, we have lost family members to Alzheimer’s,” Cathleen Kelly, who attended the event said.

The festival, full of your favorite food trucks and live music, will be happening until 8 p.m. Sunday evening.

All proceeds will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association of Nebraska to keep fighting Dementia and Alzheimer’s and continue to spread awareness.

“The support is so important to end Alzheimer’s and these people come out and do their best for us all,” Kelly said.

Everyone is welcome and you’re encouraged to wear purple.
