Another coronavirus death reported in Lancaster County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Unfortunately, today makes another death due to the coronavirus in Lancaster County, bringing the community total up to 27. This comes only a day after the 25th and 26th deaths were reported.
The individual who passed today was a man in his 70’s who was hospitalized.
We are also seeing a rise in cases, with 79 being reported, which brings our total case number to 7,004 according to the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD).

Recoveries are up to 2,868, while the county’s positivity rate remains at 8.5%.
The state’s overall positivity rate has also leveled off at 10.1%.
Sixty-three patients are hospitalized due to COVID-19, 35 of which are Lancaster county residents (4 on ventilators).
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. If you have symptoms, please get tested. Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents by appointment only.
