Authorities search for a suspect tied to a hit-and-run

LINCOLN Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect tied to a hit-and-run.

Cameras captured the incident on 27th and Fair Street, occurring at 9:11 p.m. on Friday, February 6.

Lincoln police are now searching for the driver after he failed to leave any information following the collision. Witnesses saw the man circle back to check out the damages, walking outside of his vehicle on the block.

The driver is described as an older white man with a tattoo on his left bicep, driving a smaller dark SUV.

Authorities are saying anyone with any information on the suspect should reach out to Crimestoppers.
