Police in Concordia, Kansas, say the man, Jacob Lyman, fled when they tried to pull over the pickup truck he was driving, the Associated Press reported.

One of the people in the pickup fired at police, and an officer returned fire, according to police.

No one was injured. The chase ended when Lyman lost control of the pickup.

Lyman was booked on several traffic and drug charges. His passenger — Valerie Sanchez of Temple Bell, Texas — was arrested on several drug charges.
