Big Ten announces opponents for Nebraska basketball’s 2026-27 conference schedule

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Big Ten Conference announced the Nebraska men’s basketball team’s 2026-27 conference opponents on Tuesday.
A visit from defending national champion Michigan and 10 matchups against NCAA Tournament teams highlight the schedule.
Nebraska’s 20-game conference schedule features three double-play opponents and 14 one-game matchups with the remaining Big Ten schools.
Two of Nebraska’s three double-play opponents (Iowa and Michigan State) reached the Sweet 16 last season. Penn State is the third matchup the Huskers will get twice.

Nebraska will host NCAA Tournament qualifiers Iowa, Michigan State, UCLA and Ohio State, as well as 2026 College Basketball Crown participants Rutgers and Minnesota.
The Huskers will hit the road to take on Final Four qualifier Illinois, and NCAA Tournament teams Purdue, Iowa, Michigan State and Wisconsin.
