Blustery day ahead
After a couple of very quiet and comfortable fall days, it’s going to get a little chilly around here! It won’t last long, though. Temperatures get back into the 70s for highs by Sunday and should stay there for quite a while. We may see a little light rain early Friday, but that’ll be about it until later next week.
A few light rain showers early Friday then chilly and blustery. A northwest wind at 10 to 25 mph, gusting to around 35 mph, will be around much of the day.
The best chance for light rain will be in the morning, but it doesn’t look like it’ll amount to much.
Highs will be well below average on Friday. We should be in the lower 70s!
Wind gusts during the day will be well into the 30 mph range.
By Saturday morning, temperatures really bottom out. We’ll be very close to the freezing mark!
A Freeze Watch and Warning is in place for much of the state Saturday morning. We may see this expanded into SE Nebraska, or possibly a Frost Advisory.
