Bryan Medical Center welcomes Lincoln’s first baby of 2026

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln’s first baby of 2026 was delivered at the Bryan Medical Center early Thursday morning.

Paige and Andrew Petts welcomed their baby girl at 12:21 a.m.

She was delivered by Dr. Debra Placek, MD, of the Women’s Health Care Center of Williamsburg.

Baby girl Petts weighs 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and is 19 inches tall.
