Cam’ron Jones becomes fourth Husker to leave football program this month

The departures keep coming for the Nebraska football team.
Redshirt freshman Cam’ron Jones has now announced his plans to transfer from the Huskers.
“Again, Husker Nation I want to sincerely thank you for all the love and support,” Jones said in a Tweet Friday.
The Mansfield, Texas, native did not play in a game for the Big Red, redshirting last season while dealing with a shoulder injury.
Jones is the fourth Husker to leave the program since the spring game on April 13. Punter Caleb Lightbourn announced earlier this month, while outside linebackers Quayshon Alexander and Breon Dixon entered their names in the NCAA transfer portal earlier this week.
