Car barrels through fence, crashes into house in southeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A car crashed into a house in southeast Lincoln on Monday night after barreling through a fence.

Just after 7 p.m., first responders were sent to a townhome near 84th Street and Yankee Hill Road.

The Lincoln Police Department said a car crashed into a home’s dining room, but nobody inside the house was injured.

In a video sent to our NOW Local News App by a Channel 8 reporter, you can see the car’s front bumper in the grass with a gaping hole in the fence.

According to LPD, there is no update on the driver’s condition, but nobody was transported to the hospital.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
