Car flips onto roof in north Lincoln during morning commute

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A car flipped onto its roof in north Lincoln on Tuesday after clipping a parked car, according to Lincoln Police.

An officer on the scene said it happened around 6:50 a.m. near 20th Street and Montclair Drive.

Police said the driver was traveling south and tried to avoid another vehicle, hitting a parked car.  The car then flipped onto its roof.

The Lincoln Police Department said no one was injured, but the driver had to be rescued from the car.

Traffic was blocked in the area for about an hour.
