CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Coin shop robbed, owner’s son asks for help

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Wednesday evening, an individual was caught on camera robbing a local coin shop.

Star City Coins, 4211 “O” St, was broken into around six o’clock and robbed of an undisclosed amount of property.

According to Lincoln Police, the owner was notified of the shop alarm going off and watched footage of the front glass door being broken.

The suspect can be seen taking money from the register and coin books.

The damage to the shop is estimated at $500.

The shop owner’s son, Blake Glaser, posted the security footage on Twitter asking the community to help identify the thief.
