Chilly weekend, colder week ahead

We are looking at a chilly Saturday with temperatures trying for the upper 20s, then a brief warm up on Sunday with highs in the middle 30s, which is close to average. After that, the bottom falls out. Highs go from the 20s on Monday, to the teens Tuesday and Wednesday, to the single digits Thursday and Friday. Toss in a chances for snow Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and it’s going to feel like winter around here! For what it’s worth, winter does officially begin on Wednesday.

Day Planner Vertical

To kick off the weekend, it’s going to be a bit blustery. Highs will try for the upper 20s but a gusty northwest wind will make it feel more like the teens.

Tomorrow High Dma

While much of eastern Nebraska will be in the 20s for highs on Saturday, we’ll see the lower 30s in the tri-cities and around Hebron, Fairbury, and Beatrice.

3day Lincoln Forecast

The next three days in Lincoln will be a little up and down. 20s on Saturday, 30s on Sunday, then 20s again on Monday with a chance for light snow.

Cpc D6 D10 Temps

Enjoy the 20s and 30s while they are here, though. The outlook for the 2nd half of next week looks really cold. Highs will only be in the single digits with overnight lows in the single digits below zero!
