The city of Lincoln gave the following update on winter weather driving conditions after Lancaster County saw 0.5-2.0 inches of snow overnight Sunday into Monday morning.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The city of Lincoln gave the following update on winter weather driving conditions after Lancaster County saw 0.5-2.0 inches of snow overnight Sunday into Monday morning.
City operations: City crews have been out since midnight treating arterial, bus and school routes with granular salt pre-wet with brine. Crews will remain on duty this morning until pavement temperatures provide natural melting.
Weather conditions: Snow has ended.
Street conditions: Winter driving conditions. Streets range from wet with slush to partially covered. Drivers should be alert for slick spots, slow down and increase your stopping distance.
