Cold air and snow in the forecast
A chilly end to the work week is headed our way. Temperatures early Friday will be in the single digits and teens across the state.
The wind chill will be very close to zero early Friday morning for much of central and eastern Nebraska.
We won’t warm up much on Friday, either. Highs will be in the teens for most of the state.
It will then be a COLD start to Saturday.
With temperatures below zero for actual temperatures, the wind chill will have a solid bite to it.
Also on Saturday is another chance for some light snow. It starts in western Nebraska Saturday morning, into central Nebraska around noon, then into eastern Nebraska Saturday afternoon, lingering into the nighttime.
After the snow chance Friday, Saturday, into early Sunday, we do warm up Sunday into next week. Maybe a 50 or two by late next week!
