Cold air is here
The cold air has arrived and we are going to be in this deep freeze for several days.
Wind Chill Warnings are in place for the entire state of Nebraska.
The warning is in effect through the weekend and into early next week.
Wind chills will often drop into the 30 to 45 degrees below zero range.
Temperatures will be very cold early Sunday. We’ll start near -20 degrees and only “warm up” into the single digits below zero.
The wind dies down a bit, but any wind when it’s this cold is not good.
The wind chill will be dangerously cold all day. -20 to -40 degree wind chills are likely.
