Cold air pushes in
Official snowfall total numbers are still coming in, but most of us saw 2-4″ of snow late Tuesday into Wednesday.
Here are some of the higher totals I was able to find. 3.1″ is the unofficial total for Lincoln so far.
And some other unofficial snow totals below. Most of these are from Wednesday morning, so more snow may have been added:
COLD WEATHER ADVISORIES are in place late tonight into early Thursday morning for bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills.
We’ll start the day well below zero for actual temperatures. Some of us seeing double digits below zero!
The wind chill will be VERY cold. 15 to 25 degrees below zero is possible early Thursday morning.
We do warm up Thursday afternoon with some sunshine, but it’ll still be well below average.
We warm up by Friday, but that’s when our next precipitation chance comes our way.
