Cold continues for a couple more days
The coldest air of the season is going to descend upon us late tonight into early Friday morning. We will start to warm up after that, but it’s going to take a little bit. Highs on Saturday will struggle, but they will be better than Friday’s highs! Then it really warms up Sunday into early next week.
These warmer temperatures will last into the middle of next week, until a cold front rolls through and gives us a small precipitation chance and cooler temperatures over the holiday.
For tonight into early Friday, the hour by hour temperature slowly drops through the 20s and into the teens. We’ll likely bottom out around 10 to 12 degrees by 6AM.
The wind chill will have a bite to it. We’ll drop into the single digits just before midnight and eventually drop to or below zero by 6AM.
It’ll be a dry but chilly and blustery day on Friday. Highs will be 25 degrees below average!
Then on Saturday, we’ll have another blustery day for the game. We’ll see plenty of sunshine, but a gusty northwest wind will make our actual temperatures feel more like the teens for most of the game.
