Cold couple of days ahead
It’s going to get cold again. Highs will be in the single digits and lows may break records! Precipitation is done… for now.
Winter Weather Advisories continue through Friday morning for a blowing snow potential. The wind will eventually die down and the cold settles in.
The wind will continue to be an issue through the first half of the day on Friday with wind gusts at 20 to 30 mph.
Because of the excessive wind, Wind Chill Advisories are in place for all of Nebraska through Friday morning.
There will still be enough cold and wind to go around Friday night into Saturday, so another Wind Chill Advisory is in place for that time period.
Early Friday we’ll have temperatures below zero once again.
The wind chill early Friday will be 15 to 25 below.
The high on Friday will struggle. Some of us may get to double digits, but most will not.
Early Saturday morning is when we bottom out. Lows will be anywhere from 10 to 20 degrees below zero.
