Cold early Friday, then warming up
In the gallery below, you will find the record lows from Thursday morning and a list of the coldest wind chills recorded. Brrrr!
We’re not quite done with the cold temperatures just yet, either. There is a Cold Weather Advisory in place for much of Nebraska through Friday morning.
Temperatures will drop into the single digits to around 10 degrees below zero early Friday. More record lows are possible.
We rebound into the teens and 20s with some 30s out west. Still below average for highs, though!
For Lincoln, we start off very cold then warm to around 20 degrees. A bit of a southwest breeze will keep the wind chill low.
After Friday, we warm up, then warm up some more.
I’m looking forward to the sun and above average temperatures next week. I’ll take the rain chance, too!
