Cold early mornings, mild afternoons
A FROST ADVISORY and a FREEZE WARNING is in place for much of Nebraska Wednesday morning. The entire state is going to see temperatures cold enough for a frost or freeze, but parts of central and eastern Nebraska haven’t seen air that cold yet.
We’ll start the day in the lower and middle 30s, so frost is likely for just about everyone.
We warm up rather quickly, though. We’ll be very close to 60 by noon. The wind will also be a LOT less than it’s been recently.
We’ll top out in the upper 50s to upper 60s with most of us in the mid 60s much of the afternoon.
The next chance for rain comes our way on Friday, then again early next week. After one more chilly start to the day, temperatures moderate into next week.
